The mobile equipment operator position is involved in all of the varying steps to produce and crush limestone rock. Key activities are: stripping and overburden removal, drilling and blasting, loading and hauling into a crusher, and reclaiming land for future use. Special projects come up from time-to-time with examples being rip-rap production, over-the-road trucking, tree planting, setting culverts, road work, snow removal, pumping, etc.
