POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Pricing Coordinator is a pivotal role within our organization. This role is primarily responsible for the accurate management of customer pricelists which comprise of weekly, contract, and retail ads. Furthermore, this position plays a key customer service role. The role demands a high level of attention to detail.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service
1. Order Entry which includes calling customers for order
2. Managing Customer portals such as SVHarbor, I trade and Foodlink, and Procurant
3. Coordinating Price List schedule, updating system, and sending to customers in a timely manner.
4. Electronic filing of documentation.
5. Acute attention to detail and accuracy is a requirement
6. Entering PO’s and assist buyers as needed
7. Assist marketing and management with reports
8. Provide accurate documentation to customers such as Sales Confirmations.
Pricing Coordinator
9. Monitor precise price trends through consistently reviewing and analyzing pricing compared to client agreements.
10. Conducting comprehensive analysis of sales data.
11. Analyze pricing data based on industry standards, previous sales trends, and competitors.
12. Work with buyers and sales on pricing models to develop competitive pricing.
13. Manage Ad/Promo log to post confirmed Promotional requests.
14. Coordinate price list schedule, update system and send to customers in a timely manner.
16. Entry of customer orders.
17. Coordinate direct drop sales between vendor, transportation, and customer.
18. Enter Purchase Orders (PO’s) and assist sales team as needed.
19. Respond promptly to customer issues and address as necessary with Sales team or management.
20. Create and maintain accurate, accessible, and organized documentation.
21. Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Education: 1. Candidates should possess a 4-year college degree, or any equivalent and 2 years work related experience in Sales, customer service, or pricing.
Effective communication and customer service skills
Mid-level experience with MS Office and other computer programs such as spreadsheets, word processing, email, etc.
Advanced Excel knowledge (Power Query, Advanced charting, Pivot tables, conditional formatting, V Lookups)
Understanding of market analysis and competitor pricing.
Skills in optimizing pricing strategies.
Self-motivated and willing to take initiative.
Fresh produce industry experience, preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Employee may have to lift, carry, and move boxes and cartons up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
