If so, we invite you to join our team as a Construction Project Coordinator. In this role you will be at the heart of our projects, working closely with clients to bring their visions to life.
Peter Johnson Builders is a company focused on high end, architecturally-designed custom homes and remodels, and we are looking for a talented and motivated Estimator to oversee and control the preconstruction process.The ideal candidate is a growing professional and team player that can perform in an administrative capacity and support the preconstruction department as required.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and develop detailed plans.
Coordinate selection processes, guiding clients through material and design choices
Communicate effectively with trade partners to obtain accurate pricing and project timelines.
Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing proactive solutions.
Maintain organized documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare, edit and organize project documents, reports and spreadsheets
Review and update project budgets
Create construction contracts through BuilderTrend
Contribute to cost estimates utilizing trade partner budgets and quotes, as well as unit pricing.
Conduct project Kick-off, department review, and management review meetings.
Maintain trade partner relationships and develop relationships with new trade partners (subcontractors and vendors).
Interface professionally with trade partners, architects, engineers, city and county officials, clients, and consultants.
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to design documents.
Procure Project Permits from local municipalities
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in an administrative role
Proficiency in project management software
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and
stakeholders.
Commitment to upholding high-quality standards and delivering exceptional results.
Compensation:
$65,000 - $75,000 depending on experience
