Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Job Purpose:
Under the direction of the Parts Manager, the Parts Inventory Control Clerk monitors branch inventory, performs various control processes, and ensures that parts inventories are performing at an optimum level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Honor Commitment:
- Manage and reconcile the Open Postings report, ensuring financial accuracy and accountability.
- Oversee, record, and investigate cycle count operations and variances, maintaining inventory integrity.
Create Positive Experiences:
- Manage and facilitate core returns and new product returns, providing efficient and timely service to customers.
- Ensure proper organization of parts in the warehouse and front showroom, creating a positive experience for both employees and customers.
Foster Life-Long Learning:
- Manage and facilitate all new product returns, requiring continuous learning about new products and vendor requirements.
- Oversee, record, and investigate cycle count operations and variances, promoting a data-driven approach to inventory management.
Exhibit Pioneering Spirit:
- Manage and oversee all special inventory projects, demonstrating adaptability and innovation in inventory management.
Demonstrate Good Stewardship:
- Manage and facilitate core returns, ensuring responsible handling and recycling of materials. Ensure proper organization of parts in the warehouse and front showroom, maximizing space utilization and minimizing waste.
Other Duties as Assigned:
- Adapt to the evolving needs of the organization and undertake additional responsibilities as required, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and responsiveness in meeting business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- 3 years experience in a parts distribution environment preferred.
- Understanding of inventory theory and practice, ability to adapt concepts to real applications.
- Receptive to new ideas and new processes; eager to investigate and implement as appropriate.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced computer/software abilities.
