This is a PRN position. Number of shifts may vary throughout the week, day shift : 8am-5pm.

What you will do :
The Home Care Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA) will provide personal hygiene care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) as per the patient's plan of care in the patient's home environment. The Home Care Certified Nurse's Aide will provide light housekeeping or respite services directed by the supervising Registered Nurse. The CNA will provide care based on provider's orders, plan of care, departmental policies and procedures, regulatory guidelines, and best practice. The CNA works under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse. The CNA works to assist in providing a safe and clean environment. The CNA collaborates with the patient, caregivers and other Home Care IDG members to meet the goals of care. The Home Care Certified Nurse's Aide participated in on-call responsibilities and Holiday staffing.
Required Education : Current Texas state certification as a certified Nurse Aide
Preferred Education : High School diploma or equivalent
Required Skills :
Certified Nurse Aide skills as defined by generally accepted standards of practice. Basic knowledge and skills to care for the needs of the population served. Professional and efficient verbal and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task, basic organizational and time management skills. Basic computer skills. Knowledge of general office and administrative practices and procedures. Knowledge of how to utilize office equipment (copy machine, fax machine, etc.)
Preferred Skills :
Home Care Home Base experience; Experience with smart phones and smart devices
Required Experience :
Minimum of one-year experience as a hands on caregiver
Preferred Experience :
Home Care of Hospice experience; Experience in healthcare setting
