What you will do:
Works under the supervision of the physicians and management team to care for patients within the Radiology and CCIR departments; completes medication reconciliation on patients undergoing contrast or invasive procedures; communicates with physicians regarding patient conditions, needs, and care plans; assists physicians and technologists with invasive procedures as requested.

Required Education:
Formal LVN or RN Nursing Education
Formal LVN or RN Nursing Education
Preferred Education:
Bachelors of Science (BSN) in Nursing
Bachelors of Science (BSN) in Nursing
Required Skills:
1. Strong organizational, interpersonal relationship, decision-making and patient care skills.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, positioning, techniques, and both radiation protection and safety standards.
3. Excellent veni-puncture skills.
4. Knowledge of medical terminology.
5. Ability to determine when physician intervention is necessary.
6. Ability to prepare and recover patient pre, intra, and post-procedure in Radiology and CCIR departments.
7. Ability to deviate from normal techniques when necessary to develop new and better techniques to keep the department up to date.

One year experience as a critical care or Interventional Radiology nurse
