As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll play a vital role in driving innovation and customer-focused solutions that elevate our digital presence and make pet care more accessible. You’ll collaborate closely with UX, Analysts, and Engineering teams to transform business objectives and customer insights into impactful products. Your deep understanding of customer intent, design intuition, and technical curiosity will guide you through the strategy, design, and development phases, enabling you to deliver exceptional experiences that exceed expectations.
This is a hybrid role that requires the ability to commute to our Delray Beach, FL corporate office 3x per week.
Key Responsibilities :
50% Strategy and Planning :
User-Centered Approach : Empathize deeply with our users and leverage those insights to chart the quickest path to delivering value.
Strategic Translation : Convert business goals and user needs into a clear product strategy, effectively communicating priorities to the development team and other key partner
Goal-Driven : Identify and utilize key metrics to measure product value; continuously refine the product backlog based on learnings.
Backlog Management : Oversee and groom the product backlog, making informed decisions that maximize delivered value.
Collaborative Partnerships : Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to understand business needs and contribute to the creation of actionable plans for new opportunities.
Research and Benchmarking : Stay informed on competitive trends and industry best practices, ensuring our products are top-tier and customer-centric.
Balanced Decision-Making : Ensure product directions align with both user needs and business objectives, enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sales.
20% Delivery & Execution :
Hypothesis-Driven Development : Formulate, test, and refine hypotheses through user research and testing to ensure product excellence.
Quality Assurance : Document and review all product changes to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
Prioritization and; Planning : Prioritize user stories and incorporate them into release planning, ensuring that product decisions consistently add value.
Problem Solving : Identify and address potential issues, dependencies, and trade-offs related to product features and enhancements.
Agile Participation : Engage in agile practices such as standups, iteration planning, product demos, and retrospectives to keep the team aligned and focused.
Simplify Communication : Translate complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical language for stakeholders, ensuring everyone is on the same page.

Foster Collaboration : Promote teamwork across all departments, including Engineering, UX, and Analytics, to overcome challenges and drive value.
Champion Modern Practices : Advocate for modern software development practices and continuous improvement within the team.
User Advocacy : Be the voice of the customer, ensuring that user needs are front and
center in product decisions.
Continuous Improvement : Work with the team to assess progress, share insights, and plan next steps to keep moving forward.
Expectation Management : Manage cross-functional team and stakeholder expectations, prioritizing requests based on tangible benefits and user experience.
Mentorship : Guide junior team members in product management best practices, offering support in strategy, alignment, and execution.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Skills & Competencies
Experience : 3-6 years of relevant experience as a Product Manager in a fast-paced, modern software development environment.
Methodologies : Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern software development practices, including extreme programming (XP), paired programming, and continuous deployment.
Communication : Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
Collaboration : Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
User-Centric : Experience conducting user research, identifying goals, and using analytics to measure product value.
Mentorship : Experience guiding and mentoring junior team members in product management principles.
