We believe in a holistic approach to Montessori education, combining academics, practical life, sensorial exercises and mixed age groups, allowing each child to express their unique gifts, interests and abilities.
Petoskey Montessori Children’s House has an opening for an Assistant Teacher for the Infant/Toddler Classroom, which serves children 2 months to 3 years old. Responsibilities include assisting the classroom teacher in the planning and implementation of the daily program, assisting with the children, toileting, maintenance of the environment, and some record keeping. Some early childhood education desirable
Applicants must be able to pass a fingerprint background check, be able to lift up to 30 pounds get up and down from the floor easily.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
