The Customer Success Specialist, in addition to normal sales coordinator responsibilities, assists sales associates in the management of specific projects and/or programs. This will include, but is not limited to RFQs, bid processing, quote sheets, forecasting, NPRFs, sample requests and order processing. Serving as the main point of contact between Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, and customers, this role ensures timely communication regarding product delivery to satisfied customers. Additionally, they will assist with new associate on-boarding and training, continuous improvement activities, and customer portal training as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Establish strong business relationships with customers and act as a liaison between Sales, Scheduling, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Shipping and Accounting
  • Serve as a leader for projects and/or programs including account set-up, bid processing, quote sheets, packaging briefs, part revisions, document uploads and sample requests
  • Gather relative information/documentation for bids, establishing timelines for each requirement and following up with team members to ensure all requirements are met on time
  • Track new/revised product approvals based on customer requirements and work with Sales and Design Associates and other departments to ensure all approvals are met
  • Implement, monitor and track revision level change NPRFs as needed
  • Work with customers, as well as Scheduling and Sales departments, to coordinate promo and ad requests
  • Answer inbound customer calls and handle administrative requests promptly
  • Complete order processing tasks and input customer-related order data accurately
  • Update part numbers and pricing templates in ERP and customer sites
  • Work with assigned accounts to up-sell additional and new items
  • Work with Sales Associates and customers to ensure forecasts are accurate and up to date
  • Closely monitor parts on phaseout to obsolescence
  • Assist in documenting and implementing new and updated procedures
  • Quality Management System adherence
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Education

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or related field preferred

Experience

  • Proven experience in a sales coordinator or related role, with a demonstrated ability to manage projects and programs effectively
  • Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role is a plus
