Position Description:
At our company, safety is a choice—and we choose to be safe. As a CDL Ready Mix Driver (Class B License), you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service. Your key duties include:
- Commit to Safety – Always wear and properly maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE) while strictly following all safety policies and procedures.
- Inspect Equipment – Conduct thorough pre-shift, pre-trip, and post-trip inspections to ensure all equipment is in safe operating condition.
- Operate Mixer Trucks – Safely transport and dispense concrete products using a concrete mixer truck at designated job sites.
- Perform Hands-On Tasks – Assist with site cleanup, sample collection, waste removal, and other remediation activities as needed.
- Maintain Accurate Records – Complete all required driver logs, reports, and documentation promptly and accurately.
- Perform Routine Maintenance – Take responsibility for daily preventative maintenance tasks, such as greasing, washing, and general upkeep of equipment.
- Uphold Company Standards – Understand, follow, and actively promote all company policies and procedures to maintain a professional and compliant workplace.
- Ensure Worksite Safety – Clean and prepare work areas to identify and eliminate potential hazards before and after tasks.
- Support Team Goals – Take on additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a Clean Work Environment – Demonstrate diligence in keeping work areas organized, safe, and free of unnecessary hazards at all times.

Position Requirements:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES
- Education- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
- Experience- 1 to 3 years' operating experience.
- CDL Class B driver’s license required
- Knowledge of the local area, local contractors and/or concrete construction practices preferred.
- Excellent defensive driving skills.
- Must pass DOT (Department of Transportation) physical as well as federally mandated alcohol and drug testing requirements.
- Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, and leadership preferred.
