JOB TITLE: SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate RFQ’s and building normalizations, negotiating price, resolving supply chain issues, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), procurement, contractual, and commercial support to senior management.
- Responsible for requisition processing, inventory tracking, order tracking, and receipt verification.
- Build market snapshots and provide recommendations
- Analyze supply chain data to identify potential bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Generate reports on key performance metrics (KPIs) such as lead time, delivery accuracy, and overall vendor performance.
- Work closely with operations, offshore operations teams, suppliers and customer service teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve supply chain challenges. Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and select the most suitable vendors based on cost, quality, and delivery time.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to obtain the best pricing, quality, and service. Monitor supplier performance, resolve any issues or disputes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.
- Market knowledge of Gulf of Mexico Oil and Gas decommissioning including well operations, and familiarity with industry terminology (Preferred).
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office and proficient in Excel (Essential).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred and relevant certifications is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain principles, practices, and regulations (Preferred).
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize too manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to integrity in procurement practices.
- Vendor management as well as RFQ for indirect procurement experience for services and materials in the Gulf of Mexico.
- Drafting and negotiating skills including terms and conditions and contract schedules.
- Analyzing data in excel and provide sound decisions based on that data.
- Must be able to draw conclusion based on presented evidence, data, and training and rationalize potential outcomes needed and use the available resources to obtain said outcome.
