PSC Group is now hiring for a Plant Field Clerk to support our yard operations in Savannah, GA! This position has a direct relationship with our customers, warehouses, Savannah Ports and Rail docks / ramps, and our internal drayage operations. You would be primary working outdoors and would be responsible for providing timely, accurate, and efficient service to our customers. Work Schedule : Monday - Friday
Pay Range : $20.00 - $23.00 an hour
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Process drivers delivering in and out of the Container yard while maintaining data accuracy
- Develop and maintain excellent working business relationships with customers (Internal and External).
- Responsible for all communication with drivers and customers to ensure orders are handled at the highest level of exceptional customer service
- Track all orders are entered in container management system; monitoring import and export containers
- Closely monitor Vessel schedule changes from the terminals and communicate to customer and operations accordingly
- Follow up on drivers to ensure all deliveries dispatched according to the schedule and communicate with customers any issues or delays
- Promptly and effectively solve any issues with deliveries and or equipment
- Minimize all additional cost through effective communication, accurate data entry, thorough record keeping, utilization of Link systems, and optimizing driver utility.
- Cross train with other Customer Care Coordinators and keep desk manuals up to date, including those in other markets.
- Ensure all documentation, orders processing, and dispatch has been completed on orders and prepare orders for invoicing.
- Verify new accounts are set up properly and make necessary changes for existing accounts as needed
