Job Overview :
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our client's Product Definition team in the Steam Turbine & Generator department within the organization. This role will be instrumental in supporting the creation, revision, and maintenance of technical drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and 3D models for manufacturing and production purposes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create, modify, and maintain technical drawings, 3D models, and Bill of Materials (BOM) to support the design and production of steam turbines and generators.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure accuracy and alignment of drawings with product specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Revise and update existing drawings and models as needed based on engineering changes, design updates, or production requirements.
- Ensure that all product definition documents adhere to industry standards, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and dimensioning concepts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design and production issues, ensuring smooth workflow and accurate documentation.
- Perform quality checks on all deliverables to ensure that all technical documents are error-free and aligned with project specifications.
