About The Refinery
a State-of-the-art crude oil and condensate splitter, completed in 2019, is strategically located near the Houston Ship Channel. Designed to handle a broad range of feedstocks, our facility is optimized to maximize refining opportunities and operational efficiency.
Your Impact
As Manager of Process Safety, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and maintaining our Process Safety Management (PSM) program, ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, and fostering a proactive safety culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
πΉ Ensure compliance with OSHA PSM and EPA RMP standards.
πΉ Lead Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and Layers of Protection Analyses (LOPA).
πΉ Conduct internal audits and drive corrective actions.
πΉ Participate in OSHA and EPA compliance inspections to maintain best practices.
πΉ Collaborate with operations, technical, and safety teams to enhance safety initiatives.
πΉ Serve as a key member of the corporate safety team to drive process safety excellence globally.
What You Bring to the Table:
β 10 years of experience in petrochemical refining, with at least 5 years in process safety leadership.
β Hands-on expertise in hazard analysis, incident investigations, and change management.
β Familiarity with risk assessment software (Sphera preferred).
β Bachelorβs degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Safety Engineering (or related discipline).
β Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
β Relevant certifications (CSP, CCPSC) are a plus.
Physical & Travel Requirements:
πΈ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb tank stairs, and enter confined spaces.
πΈ Occasional travel domestically for conferences and meetings.
πΈ Flexibility for occasional nights and weekends as needed.
