Responsibilities
- Manage small to large-scale projects according to strategic company initiatives.
- Lead new product manufacturing process launches and serve as focal point for other departments to ensure timelines are met and customer requirements are fulfilled.
- Establish manufacturing project milestones, develop countermeasure plans when targets are not met, and escalate when appropriate.
- Lead assembly efficiency initiatives to reduce cost, prepare project proposals, and provide status updates to upper management.
- Evaluate new and current processes, tools, and equipment. Develop controls/countermeasures to eliminate safety hazards through job safety risk assessments.
Requirements
3 years' experience in Manufacturing Engineering or project management experience. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Solid Modeling Software, and ERP software. Experience and/or training in safe work environments, capital improvement, and maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Benefits
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Supervisory Responsibility - This position will occasionally have 1 direct report (Intern) and occasional oversight of production personal. Travel - This position requires occasional travel, including travel outside the local area and overnight.
