We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to provide locum cover at our wellness clinic. Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
- Administer vaccinations and medications as required.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff in the delivery of care.
- Provide guidance on pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures to pet owners.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards in the clinic or hospital environment.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of employment.
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and handling techniques.
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures related to animal health diagnostics.
- Experience with animal restraint techniques and catheterization is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and team members.
