What You’ll Do
As a Technical Strategist, you will play a vital role in supporting federal government clients, including Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) organizations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring the successful utilization and operation of Pexip solutions in secure, highly regulated environments.
- Leading technical post-sales engagements, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting support.
- Collaborating with Solution Architects, Solution Delivery Engineers, Customer Success and Support Desk teams to deliver exceptional results.
- Building and automating custom integrations using scripting and coding tools for existing customers.
- Staying informed about trends and regulatory changes regarding Unified Communications within US Federal Government (Specifically DoD and IC).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical contact for all post-sales communication with federal government customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical challenges related to network infrastructure, SIP/h.323 technologies, and secure coding practices.
- Customize and automate Pexip solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
- Conduct on-site meetings, installations, and testing at federal facilities, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Facilitate seamless collaboration with Support Desk and Customer Success teams.
- Contribute to internal product feedback loops by providing insights and feature requests from federal customers.
- Stay engaged with trends in Unified Communications, secure environments, and government compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and an active security clearance (TS preferred).
- Ability to work from Pexip’s Herndon, VA office three days per week and travel outside of the DC-area up to 30% for on-site engagements.
- 7 years of relevant experience in technical support, professional services, or post-sales engineering.
- Deep understanding of Unified Communications technologies, including SIP, h.323, and WebRTC.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript) with secure coding experience.
- Expertise in network infrastructure, the OSI model, and IP-based troubleshooting strategies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex tasks and projects independently.
- Familiarity with federal environments, including DoD and Intelligence Community operations.
- Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience with large-scale federal projects or telehealth and virtualized government services.
- Advanced knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with competitive Unified Communications and Collaboration solutions.
- Residence near a major airport for ease of travel.
