We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager (Lead) with a strong background in IT personnel management, process optimization, and project execution. This role requires an individual who can oversee a diverse technical team, drive innovation, and establish streamlined processes to ensure efficient execution of projects. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, an excellent communicator, and skilled at implementing Agile methodologies to manage action items, track progress, and ensure timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a cross-functional IT team, including programmers, web designers, help desk personnel, SQL specialists, and outsourced roles in Mexico.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Statements of Work (SOWs) to streamline project objectives, define action items, and establish clear accountability.
- Improve and oversee project processes, ensuring efficient execution of tasks, prioritization of action items, and alignment with business objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements.
- Drive innovation within the SMS (Shop Management System) team portal, ensuring seamless integration, performance optimization, and enhanced customer experience.
- Establish and enforce consistent communication practices, ensuring that all team members are aligned on goals, progress, and deadlines.
- Implement Agile methodologies, facilitating stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings to maintain project momentum.
- Monitor project progress, address roadblocks, and ensure on-time delivery of technical solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in IT Project Management, with a strong ability to lead technical teams and manage personnel across different locations.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, to manage workflows and optimize team productivity.
- Strong background in process improvement, workflow automation, and technical project execution.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between IT teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience managing software development, web design, help desk operations, and SQL-based projects.
- Proven ability to drive innovation from ideation to implementation, ensuring projects meet business goals and enhance customer experience.
