Sr. Hardware Engineer

Purpose of Job: Senior Hardware Engineer will design and develop complex high-speed interconnected ecosystems that are flexible and scalable. In this role, you’ll participate in the design and development of large-scale super high-speed, cutting-edge packet processors and packet switches. Senior Hardware Engineers own a project from its inception through the final build on the manufacturing floor. As well as design all elements which include architecture, block diagram decisions, schematic capture, and board bring-up.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Hands-On technical functions in support of the engineering department
• Designs and develops 100G - 400G network switch solutions from concept through production
• Participates in technical reviews of product requirements
• Design schematic
• Oversees PCB layout
• Performs board bring-up and design verification
• Works closely with software engineers to optimize design and debug products

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in training and experience
• 10 years’ hardware development experience in a communications-related product design
• Experience in ethernet, switches, and networking
• Experience using schematic/ layout tools (Cadence Or CAD)
• Knowledge of PCB technology, stack-up development, and highspeed layout considerations
• Bachelor’s degree and/ or the equivalent experience
