Positions Summary :
The Director of Operations is a key operational leader responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of tasks, projects, and initiatives across the company. The Director will also play a crucial role in integrating new team members and maintaining high performance across various company locations.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Relay important jobs, tasks, and initiatives throughout the company, ensuring clear communication and implementation.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to schedules, ensuring that all operational commitments regarding lead times are met.
- Provide support and guidance to field operations teams, ensuring they are equipped and on track to successfully complete their tasks.
- Conduct weekly update meetings with various locations to review schedules, discuss any operational issues, and strategize resolutions.
- Assist location managers in overcoming challenges that impact their operations, ensuring continuity and efficiency of business processes.
- Facilitate the onboarding of new company members, ensuring they have the necessary resources for full integration into the company's operations.
- Collaborate with senior operational leaders, as well as new location managers, to ensure performance aligns with company expectations.
- Production schedule
- Managing the entire schedule and developing processes to streamline production
- Create productivity metrics that we hold the shop and schedule accountable to
- Track actual job costs including labor amount to each job.
- Work with the shop labor and build departments that allow for greater throughput
- Communicate with PF and other customers the schedule on a weekly basis.
- Manage the various assets that PF sends into the Waller facility
- Develop processes to bring inventory in for specific jobs and plan production around these events
- Monitor and report shop capacity
- Build monthly production calendar and track the shops progress
- Develop better processes for all production
- Starting with receiving, intake, testing, ordering of parts, production, quoting, shipping, billing
- Develop robust QC process for equipment leaving the facility
