We’re looking for a Specialist, Legal, Policy and Privacy to help drive key initiatives at the intersection of privacy, corporate affairs & legal policy and strategic engagement. In this role, you’ll stay ahead of emerging policy and regulatory trends, conduct in-depth research on current and emerging privacy laws, and collaborate cross-functionally to develop and refine internal policies as needed. You’ll also play an active role in fostering team connectivity- coordinating team engagements, supporting communication strategies, and helping to create learning opportunities across the organization.

Role Responsibilities
- Assist with comprehensive research and analysis on privacy regulations and as well as and legislation on key legal policy issues e.g. intellectual property and artificial intelligence (AI), as well as emerging trends in the policy and corporate affairs space, sharing findings with the team to enhance collective knowledge.
- Collaborate on the review and enhancement of internal policy positions to ensure alignment with evolving standards. Participate on the review and enhancement of internal policy positions to ensure alignment with evolving standards.
- Contribute to the preparation of filings and reports where needed.
- Assist in planning and executing key programs and initiatives that align with the, Legal Policy and Privacy team’s objectives. Assist in planning and executing key programs and initiatives that align with the Legal Policy and Privacy team’s objectives.
- Enhance team connectivity by coordinating meeting agendas and fostering an inclusive environment for knowledge sharing. Lead efforts to develop innovative team-building activities and communication and engagement strategies that promote collaboration.
- Serve as a resource for colleagues seeking to engage or learn about Legal Policy and Privacy division initiatives. Facilitate engagement and learning opportunities within the organization.
- Other ad-hoc projects supporting the VP & Chief Counsel, Corporate Affairs, Policy and Privacy and other senior members of the team.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 0-2 years of experience working on public policy or healthcare policy.
- Knowledge of Pfizer network and systems to triage internal and external requests
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to execute day-to-day planning and operational activities and help find solutions to complex problems.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working effectively cross-functionally.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to represent Pfizer’s values with integrity and authenticity.
- Background in public health, research, communications, or global health policy preferred
