What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Auditor position at PFL Services Inc?
Overview:
PFL Services is looking for an experience Quality Auditor. This candidate must have one to 5 years of quality experience within the manufacturing setting, preferably in welding, cutting and sewing, upholstery.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and drawing.
- Handles floor quality issues.
- Monitors internal quality checks and current corrective actions.
- Utilize hand held gages, tape measures and rulers to conduct part and fixture studies.
- Perform measurement system studies for component and assembly gages.
- Other duties as required.
- Assist in resolving quality related issues.
- In-process audits
- Identify and separate nonconforming parts (defective).
- Report issues to maintenance as needed and make supervisor aware.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. repetitively.
- Must be able to stand the entire shift.
- Position requires bending, stooping, stretching and reaching.
- Should be able to work well in a multicultural environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Basic knowledge of computer use.
- Flexible to perform multiple job functions and duties.
- One to five years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with Welding, Cut & Sew and Upholstery.
- Training in Quality disciplines including Corrective Actions, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and Print Reading preferred.
Language Skills
- Basic understanding of English language.
- Bilingual is a plus
PPE Requirements
- Safety glasses and hearing protection is required.
- Safety shoes are required and are to be purchased by the employee.
Work Location: High Point , NC
Shift: 1st shift 5:45am - 2:30pm Monday through Friday
