What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Logistics Lead position at PFL Services Inc?
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistic Lead to oversee daily operations within our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate must have 4 years of material handing experience, along with previous forklift experience.
Duties
- Give directions to all forklift drivers and material handlers daily as necessary.
- Train all new incoming forklift drivers and material handlers.
- Use IMMI box truck to pick up raw material from suppliers and give packing slips to forklift drivers at facility delivery area.
- Use semi truck/box truck to move product between 2 warehouses.
- Fill in for forklift drivers and material handlers as necessary
- Request items from overstock to insure that production doesn't run out of stock needed for the production schedule.
- Keep up with the storage trucks in the lot, making sure the doors are closed at the end of the day.
Requirements:
- Must have prior forklift experience
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs repetitively
- Must be able to bend, stand and reaching the entire shifty
- Must have basic knowledge of a computer
- Must have 4 years of material handling experience.
PPE Requirement:
- Ear plugs and eye protection is required
- Steel toe shoes are required.
