Job Description
Our growing organizations is looking to add a Customer Support Representative to our team. This individual will be a key member of the sales and operations teams and will support our commercial airlines and MRO customers. They will work with the closely with our current Operations and Customer Support Representative, our remote sales team and on-site Operations team to provide excellent service to our existing customers and to develop customer relationships. This position falls within the Sales and Marketing department and reports to the President of PG Aerotech. This entry – level position is an excellent opportunity to grow within the company.
Essential Responsibilities
· Build strong relationships with existing customers.
· Coordinate efforts across different departments to provide the highest level of services to customers.
· Provide customer requested documentation including RDS, Quotes, and similar documents customized to customer operations
· Field repair inquiries and follow-up to close sales.
· Field parts sales inquiries and provide quotes and follow-up
· Interface with shop to help Operations Manager maintain active WIP assignments and expected completion dates.
· Work with Operations Manager and Shop to expedite customer units when required (Expedite).
· Notify customers of discrepant received orders and obtain corrected orders. (Expedite)
· Follow up on open vendor RFQ’s. (Expedite).
· Follow up on open vendor orders to keep PO and RO vendors on track. (Expedite)
· Maintain required vendor quality survey and accreditation files.
Experience and Skills
· Clear and concise communications skills are required as this position interacts with both internal and external customers.
· Must have stellar customer service and follow-up skills, both oral and written.
· Motivated self-starter with outgoing phone personality.
· Detail oriented with strong analytical reasoning required.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills required, with an emphasis on MS Excel. MS Office certifications are a huge plus.
Education
High School Diploma or GED Required. Associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required (in business, communications, or aviation disciplines)
Travel
This position requires 0-10% travel. Occasional local travel for training or inter-company facility may be requested on occasion.
Compensation
· Hourly position commensurate with experience. ($24.00-$29.00)
