Exhibit Detailer

Position Summary: This position will make an impact by supporting the design development and fabrication of experience-based exhibit projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in turnover meeting; be proactive and ask questions during meetings to eliminate issues
• Complete all tasks assigned in NetSuite
• Provide graphic templates after turnover meeting
• Go over the builds with the Shop Manager
• Pay attention to detail and make sure graphic template is accurate
• Breakdown graphic template and label
• Responsible for build
• Assist with asking questions during a build
• Work on set up prints
• Responsible for set up drawings and passes to the AM’s before discount deadlines
• Make updates to the project throughout the design and build process
• Responsible for show submission drawings
• Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously while hitting all critical timeline milestones
• Other duties as requested

Essential Qualifications:

• Trade School or degree in related field such as architecture or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum 5 years of Exhibit Industry experience
• Ability to work independently to create drawings based on limited information, providing workable solutions to design challenges
• Create drawings following established company standards and guidelines; ensuring design is in line with bid and build-ability constraints.
• Experience in high quality exhibit fabrication, architectural millwork, graphics and cabinetry build-out.
• Knowledge of a variety of construction and finish materials including metals, plastics, fabrics, woods, and laminates
• Attention to accuracy and detail
• Ability to value engineer, propose different methods of construction while meeting design intent and budget/time restrictions.
• Proficient in Microsoft office

Working Conditions:

• Works in our Aurora, CO office
• Sitting for up to 8 hours/day
