What You Will Do
We are seeking a team-orientated project manager with experience in managing Inclusion efforts, as well as have familiarity with HR talent processes. The DEI Project Manager will partner with members of the Global PGIM DEI team to execute projects and programs in support of PGIM’s global DEI priorities. You will have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, operating within a highly matrixed organization.

This position is based in one of our offices in Newark, NJ or Tampa, FL, following a hybrid schedule . Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration.

What You Can Expect
The Project Manager will support the program leads for the following programs:
- Heritage and Affinity Months: For each heritage / affinity month a cross-PGIM working team is established, with the goal of implementing a speaker event and a community event
- Inclusive Talent Process: PGIM DEI partners with HR and Talent Acquisition to ensure equitable talent processes.
- HBCU Investment Initiative : a multi-year support of Hampton University and Florida A&M University through a series of learning sessions, on-site experiences, and career development opportunities with PGIM senior and executive leaders.
- External Talent Partnerships : PGIM DEI partners with executive and senior leaders and Talent Acquisition team to optimize impactful engagement across brand, talent and leadership priorities.
- DEI Investment Portfolio : a joint initiative between PGIM and Prudential through a series of internal and external road shows/events that will inform and highlight our work with emerging managers.
- Project management: Provide support of select DEI programs and initiatives across PGIM, including the coordination of regional heritage month celebrations and preparation of internal and external presentations.
- Enhancing Communication Strategies for DEI Initiatives: Developing an approach to communicate activities across PGIM, through the existing communication and governance channels (e.g. Women’s Advisory Council, Black ELT, Latinx ELT, LGBTQ Think Tank and affiliate DEI forums).
- Experience of working within large and complex organizations, with DEI-related project management preferred
- Proven track record of facilitating large initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders
- Strong communicator - written and verbal - and exceptional at collaborating with colleagues at all levels
- Learning mindset with a clear interest in being curious and creative, and a capacity to quickly absorb new concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, yet also be a team player
- Financial industry experience a plus, passion for initiating action-oriented DEI solutions a must!
- Data analytics experience
- Strategic thinking and solution ideation, with evidence of having originated and implemented DEI initiatives across a range of audiences
- Experience of leveraging behavioral insights to facilitate culture change
