Technical Marketing Manager/Specialist

Role Details

The Technical Marketing Manager/Specialist will manage the technical marketing functions of the marketing department. This role will assist with and coordinate technical activities such as writing manuals, managing the technical documents associated with equipment, and maintaining brand standards for shop-produced equipment. In addition, this role will assist with planning, promotion, and participation in customer events and trade shows. This position will report to the Director of Marketing and is located in Cranberry Township.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Manage the development of technical documents such as manuals, specification sheets, white papers, articles, and other product documentation and corporate communications.
• Assist vendors in the execution of technical tasks such as manual photography, layout, translation, etc.
• Maintain consistent standards in technical documents such as manuals, white papers, etc.
• Supervise the application of marketing content on equipment such as stickers, overlays, HMI content, etc.
• Manage customer events and trade shows including advertising, direct mail, printing, transportation and meals, customer events, and/or trade show materials.
• Manage the relationship between manufacturing and marketing to ensure that the products produced are consistent with Conair brand standards. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications (or related field) and three (3) or more years of direct work experience.
• Advanced computer operator, skilled at using Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator or QuarkXpress.
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation.
• Willing to work in a team environment and be adaptable to fast-paced, rapid change; ability to multitask.
• Ability to learn all technical aspects of Conair products.
