PH Center for Behavioral Health is looking for an innovative, committed and highly skilled Clinical Supervisor to grow our integrated health organization. Our outpatient clinic is conveniently located in the communities that we serve. We treat the whole person, not just the chemical dependency of addiction.

Principle responsibilities and tasks of the Clinical Supervisor
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Maintains compliance with governmental regulators and maintains the clinic’s operating licenses.
- Chairs weekly staff meetings and participates in group supervision and treatment plan reviews and updates.
- Responsible for overall client satisfaction with clinic and clinic services. Provides direct care to a percentage of clients
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in supervisory/ management in the human services.
- Familiar with State Regulations (COMAR), DEA regulations, and ACHC standards.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years working with substance abuse population.
- Exhibits excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent documentation and computer skills required.
- Able to provide guidance and oversight for staff in using Electronic Health Record
- Knowledge of local community drug trends, the effects of the body and cognitive functioning of drugs of abuse, signs and symptoms of narcotic overdose, psychosocial implications of addictive disease, the process of addiction and treatment, social science, economic, legal and medical systems, HIV transmission, behavioral and emotional implications of addiction.
- Compliance with the ethical and professional standards and practices of the counselors and therapists.
- Initiative to lead and be proactive in critical situations, keen problem solving and decision making skills.
- To uphold the mission statement of access and quality and lead by example.
- Assist the Program Director in ensuring that the clinical staff receive the required clinical supervision/information to facilitate the delivery of service.
- Evaluates quality of program on an ongoing basis.
- Help with the growth and development of PH Center and the clinical team.
- Assist with the development of new service lines.
- Attends clinical and administrative meetings to share information inter-departmentally.
- Evaluates clinical staff based on specified performance standards, on a timely basis.
- Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment.
- Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients. Assists in formulating standards for patient care.
- Conducts group therapy sessions and/or counsels SUD and mental health clients on one-to-one basis.
- Formulates therapeutic goals with the client and assists in the actions necessary to carry out goals.
- Observes, records and reports on the conditions of addicted clients and works with vocational rehabilitation, parole/probation officers, social services, and other organizations to assist clients in adjusting to community life.
- Completes assessments and places clients in treatment based on ASAM criteria.
- May be required to gather data for the purpose of program development and evaluation.
- Completes notes in a timely manor
- Performs related duties as assigned
- Qualifications
- Minimum license requirements - Certifications: Possession of a certified clinical supervision letter and Maryland licensing as either a CAC-AD, CSC-AD, or LCPC
- A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience within a substance use treatment program or related setting.
