Job Summary
This full-time on-site position for a General Affairs at PHA Georgia, LLC in Savannah, GA is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various administrative duties to ensure a seamless operation of the office and other general affair duties, implementation of strategies to ensure employee and plant safety.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the management of company facilities and maintenance activities
- Conduct research and provide support in various administrative projects
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Providing administrative support to team members as needed through the oversight of the Human Resources Assistant Manager and Plant Manager
- Management of events, meetings and conferences
- Coordinating calendars and scheduling meetings and appointments
- Answering all manners of correspondence in a timely manner
- Assisting with document management
- Coordinating with vendors and visitors
- Collaborate with management to develop, prepare and implement safety policies, procedures and programs plant wide.
- collaborate with Team Members and Management to achieve overall safety strategy and goals
- Conduct routine on-site safety audits to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and client requirements
- Assist and conduct safety training sessions for employees, ensuring they are aware of safety protocols and procedures.
- Distribute, coordinate, and track all new and ongoing safety related programs, certifications, and paperwork for project sites.
- Maintain and ensure all safety equipment is inspected and updated, with proper training and use of equipment.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Business Administration Degree or relevant administrative experience
- 2 years of Safety related experience is preferred
- Automotive industry experience is preferred
- Safety leadership experience is preferred
Essential Qualifications
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Efficient and effective written and verbal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
