Pay is $18.00 per hour w/o certification and $19.00 per hour w/certification
Role Summary:
Under the immediate direction of a qualified licensed Staff Pharmacist, you will be trained to draw, dispense, and package radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with the regulations of the State Board of Pharmacy.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play an essential role in assisting with the compounding and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals and other services to medical care providers and facilities under highly regulated State and Federal guidelines.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Manual dexterity for manipulating small items; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and to handle standing,
walking and sitting for 4 hours with limited rest intervals; good eye-hand coordination; fair eyesight (with or without correction lenses);
normal hearing in at least one ear (hearing range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz); ability to analyze situations, administer medication,
set priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; effective organizational skills; a commitment to continuous learning; an ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepares and dispenses radiopharmaceuticals per physician prescriptions and Company, State and Federal regulations.
- Performs Quality Control testing on all dispensed products. Assesses medications to determine identity, purity and strength. Ensures all nuclear products meet the quality and efficiency standards. Complies with all Company, State and Federal requirements for the handling and shipping of radioactive material. Keeps laboratory clean as per regulatory specifications.
- Acts as a customer service liaison for the company, including treating all internal and external customers with respect, listening to and assisting in resolving customer complaints. Informs management of complaints or requests in a timely manner .
- If needed, ensures the timely delivery of nuclear pharmacy products to predetermined customers on specific routes while meeting internal schedule and quality standards. Unloads products as per client specifications while providing excellent customer service. Accepts returns from clients where applicable.
- Completes appropriate paperwork for deliveries and returns.
- Assists with the stocking of products and supplies throughout Facility as well as tracking inventory. Notifies Pharmacy Manager when products or supplies are low, need to be re-ordered or replaced.
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures while safely carrying out the responsibilities of position. Complies with all company safety standards, and all federal, state and local laws.
- Performs other job-related duties as required by the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Nuclear Pharmacist.
- Education Requirement: High School /GED Diploma
- No prior Nuclear Pharmacy Experience needed
- Ability to work a variety of schedules including nights, evenings and holidays.
- Must possess excellent critical-thinking, interpersonal communication and customer service skills. As well as good judgment and self-discipline.
- Valid state driver's license
