JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized inventory control specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels and stock movements. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular stock audits, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring the accurate recording of all inventory transactions.
Schedule
Monday- Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Maintains a safe working environment a clean and organized storage environment.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and issuing inventory.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the system.
- Collaborate with other departments on safety, warehouse cleanliness, and transactional accuracy.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Worked in a warehouse environment for at least 3 years
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Forklift certification
- Knowledgeable in warehousing procedures and standard Safety protocols
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Organizational skills – Ability to maintain organized records and efficiently manage stock.
- Attention to Detail – Accuracy is crucial when managing stock levels and inventory record.
- Technical Proficiency – Familiarity with inventory management software (MRP/ERP) and Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Mathematics - Strong analytical skills are needed to interpret inventory data and ability to calculate mathematically
- Problem Solving Skills – Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies quickly and accurately.
- Communication skills – Able to clearly communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, with team members and other departments. Spanish fluency is also desired but not required.
