Phase Technologies is currently seeking a Systems Administrator to join our expanding IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring IT infrastructure runs smoothly, from setting up and maintaining devices to troubleshooting issues and supporting personnel across the organization. You will work closely with multiple departments to deliver excellent service and expand physical infrastructure as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage device setup for PCs, workstations, tablets, and other related hardware.
- Respond to ticket requests for assistance with hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ensure software and firmware remain current by applying approved updates.
- Provide user guidance on operating software and equipment for designated systems.
- Maintain accurate records of issues, resolutions, and follow-up activities.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of equipment and software, including submitting purchase order requests.
- Expand and maintain physical infrastructure (e.g., running cable, installing fixtures) related to IT systems.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Demonstrable experience supporting IT software and hardware in a professional setting.
- Experience working in a Windows-based environment using Active Directory.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills to effectively assist end-users.
- Solid understanding of various computer systems, networks, and the ability to quickly learn new ones.
- Working knowledge of network security and data protection techniques.
- Physical ability to lift 40 lbs. and occasionally work in tight or hard-to-reach spaces.
