The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead warehouse staff (packaging, receiving, and shipping), including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Coordinate and oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct regular inventory audits, including the management and storage of Slow-Moving Inventory.
- Direct warehouse staff on the proper disposal of inventory.
- Develop, implement, and maintain warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Monitor and improve warehouse operations to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production, customer service, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain records of warehouse activities, including inbound and outbound shipments.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring daily safety and equipment operation checks are being carried out – escalating any concerns to management.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to warehouse operations.
- Ensure the team adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations.

- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) - Trained (preferred).
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- At least two years of warehouse associate experience is required and one year of management experience in a Manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience working with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc.), WMS (Warehouse Management Software), or similar tools (preferred).
Working Conditions:
- This position requires working in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
Salary:
- $45,000 DOE
