Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring all aspects of service are executed flawlessly.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure guest safety.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and calculating bills accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
- Experience in bartending or catering can enhance service capabilities but is not mandatory.
