What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator, Corporate Social Responsibility position at Phaxis?

Pay $30-36 / hr W2
6 months contract
The person in this role will help to plan and execute volunteer events and programs happening in-person in New York or virtually across the US. The person will be tasked with events supporting nonprofit partners and will support on elements including but not limited to : logistics, event structure, curriculum design, and data / reporting. The person may help with other CSR initiatives including data capture and reporting, researching volunteer opportunities & nonprofit partners, employee recruitment for volunteer programs, and reviewing grant applications.
Experience planning volunteer events, including recruiting or identifying volunteers, planning event logistics (room bookings, supply procuring & organizing, creating event run of show documents, leading event staff), and designing events to achieve an impact goal that supports a nonprofit's mission.
Able to work in-person in New York from Tuesday Thursday
Experience working with external partners or vendors.
Quals
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of professional experience working in Corporate Social Responsibility or similar team at a corporation, and / or experience coordinating volunteer programs at a nonprofit experience.
Able to juggle multiple tasks with multiple deliverables. Takes initiative and prioritizes efficiency.
Able to build upon existing programming, bring fresh ideas, and suggest new approaches.
Adept at building credibility and rapport with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across business disciplines, sectors, and cultures.
Salary : $36
