What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Citrix Engineer position at Phaxis?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Citrix Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain Citrix environments for our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in building Citrix infrastructures from the ground up, as well as upgrading or migrating existing deployments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, deploy, and maintain Citrix environments, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and related technologies.
- Plan and execute new Citrix implementations, upgrades, and migrations to ensure seamless delivery of applications and desktops.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments integrated with Citrix solutions.
- Administer and optimize Active Directory, Group Policies, and user profiles to support Citrix deployments.
- Perform performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning for Citrix systems to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Citrix solutions with other enterprise systems and applications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Citrix-related incidents and escalations.
- Stay current with emerging Citrix technologies and best practices to recommend improvements to the environment.
