What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager position at PHC Restoration?
PHC Restoration’s Project Managers are forward-thinking and assertive leaders who have the ability to confidently guide our customers through the repair phase of their restoration project, leaving their property better than it was before the damage occurred.
Project Managers are proactive and effective communicators who excel in building great relationships with our customers, suppliers, and subcontractors. They are comfortable with the pressure of knowing the customer is counting on them to get them back to normal, and our skilled craftsmen and partners rely on them to provide work to do, and clear instructions on how to get it done.
We’re looking for critical thinkers and problem solvers who enjoy interesting and challenging projects that put their skills, training, and expertise to good use.
The Project Manager’s Responsibilities:
- Effectively plan, budget, and manage the process of returning damaged structures to a pre-loss condition
- Determine scope of necessary repairs and work with the Estimator to determine cost to restore
- Work with property owners and insurance adjusters to agree on scope and price for repairs to property.
- Utilize software for job documentation, budgeting, planning, and scheduling
- Set and manage budgets and critical path schedules for all projects
- Work with field staff and subcontractors to ensure that jobs are completed on-time and under budget and that the clients are pleased with the completed project.
- Manage logistics of working with multiple interested parties, which requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Handle a large volume of projects across the Raleigh and Fayetteville, NC markets.
- Exercise entrepreneurial spirit and contribute to the firm’s growth through building and maintaining relationships and consistently delivering exceptional service.
- Lead an On-Call team once every six weeks.
Previous experience in damage restoration project management is not required, however, some building construction and project management or coordination experience is essential.
