What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial Site Manager position at PHD Services?
We are seeking an experienced and professional Janitorial Manager. This position requires a proactive leader with strong communication and organizational skills, as well as extensive knowledge of janitorial practices, particularly floor and carpet care.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Oversee employee scheduling, management, training, and development to ensure quality performance.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in floor and carpet care, including stripping, waxing, scrubbing, buffing, and general cleaning.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers, including participating in meetings to present metrics, updates on staff, and operational reports.
- Shift Flexibility: Must be available to work all three shifts as needed for inspections, training, or operational needs.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience managing large sites in a janitorial or facilities management setting.
- Driver's License: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute throughout the campus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for extended periods.
- Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
