What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at PHD Services?
- Provide concurrent facilities project leadership for multiple geographically diverse and medium complexity facilities projects in a dynamic environment including small and medium scope projects up to $10M in value.
- Act as an Owner’s Representative to provide construction administration activities in support of other project managers for multiple geographically diverse and small to high complexity facilities projects including small and large scope projects of $10M or more in value.
- Lead facilities project management activities including cost estimating; managing communications; and controlling scope, budget, schedule, and risk within defined project parameters.
- Provide both project management and technical support for office, warehouse, and manufacturing facilities.
- Provide leadership with construction industry and enterprise standards, policies, and practices for safety, accounting, purchasing, schedule, quality, cost, and regulatory compliance.
- Be an internal expert in facilities mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Facilitate communication and coordinate between Business Units, Real Estate, Office Services, Maintenance, Risk Management, Purchasing, EHS, and other internal customers and stakeholders.
- Strong AutoCAD capabilities
- Engineering experience preferred
- · Manage project-based relationships with internal customers, suppliers, consultants, and government entities or regulatory agencies in the development of projects.
- Clearly communicate facilities processes and requirements to occupants, internal customers, suppliers, consultants, and governmental entities/regulatory agencies.
- Manage project capital and expense budgets and aligns to Company accounting requirements.
- Provide best value project budget planning and control considering facility quality, lifecycle costs, and operations aligned with internal customer and business needs.
- ·Ability to travel up to 50%, including international travel
Experience/Skills Required
- Accredited Construction, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Accredited Engineering Bachelors’ or 2 year Engineering Technology degree with at least 10 years relevant experience
- AutoCAD Design Experience
- Strong Microsoft Projects and Excel Experience
