Notice of Vacancy Phelps Elementary School Long Term Sub—-School Adjustment Counselor Anticipated Dates: Immediately until February 28, 2025 Maintain caseload of IEP, 504, and general education students Provide individual and group therapeutic counseling to students Meet with students and families to address social and emotional issues that impact education Consult with teachers and staff to provide social-emotional learning within the classroom Provide crisis intervention services Participate in the IEP and/or 504 process Collaborate with Principal, School Psychologist, and Behaviorist as part of the Behavioral Support Team Serve as a liaison between DCF and school Make referrals to mental health and other community resources Massachusetts DESE School Adjustment Counselor licensure required LMHC/LICSW licensure preferred Send a letter of interest to: Michelle Scheufele, Principal Phelps Elementary School 1 Lt.
