Position Summary:
The Director of Information Technology is responsible for the service strategy, operation, design, transition, and support which includes overall IT strategy, daily operations, and reporting.
This role provides oversight and leadership for system requirements gathering, development, infrastructure, system administration, technology support, vendor relationship management, testing, reporting and business relationship management with a focus on quality service delivery to the business units and an alignment to enable business.
The development and enforcement of the IT Divisions policies and procedures, the implementation and maintenance of all aspects of the IT functions within the Agency and ensuring all systems necessary to support the operations and objectives are effective, efficient, and secure.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with Philabundances mission and operational needs.
- Team Management Lead and mentor an IT team, providing professional development and performance management.
- Infrastructure & Security Oversee IT security, networking, cloud ERP systems, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Operational Excellence Ensure the stability, efficiency, and security of IT systems across all Philabundance locations.
- Budget & Vendor Management Manage the IT budget, procurement, vendor contracts, and external service providers, including SOC and NOC.
- Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with internal departments and external vendors to address technology needs and improve service delivery.
- Policy & Compliance Develop and enforce IT policies, ensuring compliance with security standards and operational best practices.
- Support and align with Philabundance's cultural pillars, ensuring that all actions and communications reflect a focus on People, Professionalism, Partnership, and Progress.
Educational Achievement:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Education or experience equal to a bachelors degree, minimum of 8 years direct experience in Information technology.
- Ideal candidate will have relevant certifications such as ITIL, Project Management Professional (PMP), or any of the Microsoft certifications around Azure or the enterprise.
Work Experience:
- Min of 5 years experience directly managing an organizations network and IT employees, including budgeting, strategic planning and business continuity, RFPs, third party service providers and augmented staffing models at a leadership level.
- Experience with IT governance models, application development, infrastructure, and system security/risk management.
- Experience providing IT solutions in a non-profit environment and supporting users in multiple locations is a plus.
- Experience in food distribution organizations a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Must have the ability to be available evenings, weekends and take on extended hours as business needs demand.
- Occasionally, must be willing and able to travel within and outside of the service area (employee can use public transportation, rideshare service, personal vehicle, or other means) Must be physically compatible with travel, office visits, events, and meetings. Must have valid drivers license if using company vehicle.
- Work in a seated position up to 8 hours a day, 5 days a week; Bend, stoop/squat, and walk intermittently throughout the day; Must be able to move up to 20 pounds. Shared supported lift is preferred, two people can move objects to lower impact.
- See, hear, and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper safety conditions.

- Perform office tasks using simple hand grasp, fine hand manipulation, and reach associated with assigned tasks such as keying.
