SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Vice President for Enrollment Management serves as the Chief Enrollment Officer and reports directly to the President. This role provides strategic leadership, policy development, and administrative oversight for the Division of Enrollment Management, ensuring alignment with the University’s 10-year Long-Range Strategic Plan and Territory and Enrollment Management Plan.
The Vice President oversees key departments, including Admissions & Recruitment, Financial Aid, Records and Registration, and Online Program Enrollment Services. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, driving enrollment growth through innovative recruitment strategies, enhancing student services, and fostering a student-centered approach focused on operational efficiency and exceptional customer service. This role is pivotal in advancing the University’s enrollment goals and overall institutional success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executive Leadership
- Serve as a key member of the President’s Senior Executive Team (Executive Cabinet).
- Identify critical issues, analyze data, and prepare reports and position statements on special projects.
- Develop and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and institutional constituencies to implement initiatives aligned with the College’s 10-year Long-Range Strategic Plan.
- Participate in system audits, accreditation processes, and institutional evaluation initiatives.
Chief Enrollment Officer
- Lead the development and execution of student recruitment, matriculation, and enrollment services.
- Establish and evaluate policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance enrollment, retention, and completion rates.
- Oversee technology systems to ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies.
- Strengthen communication strategies with prospective and current students, parents, and institutional stakeholders.
- Manage policy development, planning, and budgeting for the Division.
- Enforce institutional policies related to Data Privacy, Satisfactory Academic Progress, Student Complaints, and Grievances.
- Promote a work environment that prevents and responds to discrimination and harassment.
- Supervise and provide leadership to all enrollment management department heads.
- Oversee staff evaluations, professional development, and performance appraisals.
- Serve on institutional committees and task forces focused on retention and enrollment.
Strategic Enrollment Management
- Implement and monitor progress toward goals outlined in the Strategic Territory and Enrollment Management Plan.
- Ensure predictable enrollment outcomes through strategic planning and oversight.
- Assess and refine student recruitment, retention, and engagement initiatives.
- Maintain data integrity and tracking systems to support enrollment operations.
- Develop key performance indicators to evaluate institutional progress and inform decision-making.
- Leverage technology and data analytics to assess trends and optimize enrollment strategies.
- Align enrollment management with broader institutional planning efforts.
- Conduct systematic evaluations of all enrollment programs and initiatives.
Budget Management
- Develop and oversee personnel and operational budgets for Enrollment Management.
- Establish a structured process for identifying and prioritizing budgetary needs based on institutional goals and compliance requirements.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure efficient allocation of resources within the Enrollment Management Division.
- Continuously review budget processes to promote equity and effectiveness in meeting institutional productivity targets.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A doctorate is preferred; however, a minimum of a master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution is required.
- At least ten (10) years of progressive professional experience in college admissions, student financial aid, records and registration management, or a closely related field.
