As a Social Media Specialist at PMI – you will be part of our Digital & Social Media team within our Commercial Smoke Free Products (SFP) Division, playing a key role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of our social media strategies across the web. You will work alongside our Commercial team leads to develop iconic and memorable brand experiences across social media while managing content & engaging with our online communities.

As a Social Media Specialist at PMI – you will be part of our Digital & Social Media team within our Commercial Smoke Free Products (SFP) Division, playing a key role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of our social media strategies across the web. You will work alongside our Commercial team leads to develop iconic and memorable brand experiences across social media while managing content & engaging with our online communities.
Your ‘day To Day’
- Working directly with our Content Team to manage our social channels, scheduling & publishing content efficiently and with agility.
- Managing all content streams and schedule/publish approved content across all relevant channels – consistently maintaining significant lead times on Social Media calendars for review, edits & more.
- Assisting in the development and delivery of social media strategies on channels such as Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn and other emerging platforms.
- Working as a community manager for all digital channels in collaboration and partnership with our Customer Service and Operations teams to ensure best in class customer care and also overlook review management process both on 3rd party review sites (Google my Business, Trust Pilot etc) and own social media channels.
- Overseeing and managing content calendars, reporting, optimization, and tracking metrics for all brands. This includes reports on engagement, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and tracking collaboration goals on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Working with internal marketing teams to inspire, source & share localized UGC.
- Working with local content creators to expand network, brand reach – create meaningful relationships with LAS & LANU brand ambassadors.
- Ensuring customer feedback is responded to in a timely manner.
- Owning social media content development process from ideation, briefing, production, approval, and publication.
- Managing content approval flows across stakeholders including legal partners.
- Liaising with internal global social media department to ensure that channel excellence and best practices are applied within the market.
- 4 years of experience, ideally in-house in a relevant role, or digital agency experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally with major in Communications, Design, Public Relations, Marketing or other relevant field
- Legally Authorized to work in the U.S.
