Phillip Morris International is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Manager of Operations Training to lead the development and implementation of training programs for our new manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations training, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for developing talent. This role will also oversee the employee onboarding process to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organization.

Your day to day'

  • Develop and implement comprehensive technical training programs for all levels of staff within the manufacturing facility.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, employee interviews, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors, or customer representatives.
  • Design, plan, and coordinate training programs based on the organization's needs and the capabilities of individual employees.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and up to date.
  • Manage and mentor a team of trainers and support staff.
  • Maintain training records and prepare reports on training activities and outcomes.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in technical training and manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the overall training and development framework.
  • Oversee the employee onboarding process, ensuring new hires receive comprehensive orientation and training to integrate smoothly into the organization.
  • Partner with HR and other departments to create a seamless onboarding experience that aligns with company culture and values.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Education, Human Resources, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations training, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing training programs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using training software and tools.
  • Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • This position is onsite five days a week.

Annual salary range- $128,000- $160,000
