We are looking to expand our team and hire a paralegal/legal assistant! The position is currently available, and applicants will be considered on a rolling basis.
About Our Team
The Law Offices of Philip W. Gasbarro, Esq. is a small firm based out of North Smithfield, Rhode Island and handles real estate matters in RI and MA, primarily real estate closings. What sets us apart from the larger title companies is our focus on offering an excellent experience from contract to close for both the client and the real estate agent. We do this by implementing efficient processes, introducing all team members at the start of the transaction to the client, and most importantly, by taking the initiative to proactively making the process seamless. Phil founded the firm in 2020 with the goal of forming a transactional law firm that not only treated clients “the way he would want to be treated,” but just as importantly, created a work environment he wanted to go to everyday, a place that felt efficient and productive, where the work made a difference in the lives of the clients, and where a positive work environment and culture were paramount.
Description of the Right Applicant
Our team currently consists of the owner/attorney, a drafting paralegal, and a client experience manager. This role is for what we term a “coordinating paralegal” where the team member can work on closing files by coordinating with clients, agents, and third parties with excellent interpersonal skills, can handle document management and conveyancing software with an attention to detail, can handle having multiple files with excellent personal multitasking and task management skills, and is open to learning the specific processes and procedures for our team. Additionally, the right applicant should prefer our work environment, which is in an in-person, open-office design, that facilitates team interaction in a small-firm environment.
