We are all “co-workers”, and you will see that the managers and owners themselves doing everything from office work, to being out in the field helping with installations / sales.
We meet as an entire company every month to update everyone on where we are as a group and provide a time and place for everyone to give input and feedback. And we try to have some sort of company social at least once a quarter.
Job Summary:
The Sales Assistant / Inside Account Manager is a critical role at Phillips Alarm, responsible for managing customer inquiries, qualifying leads, creating proposals, and closing business. This inside sales position involves daily interactions with prospective customers via phone, email, and online communication, supporting the growth of the company’s sales and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Qualification & Sales Support:
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries within 2 hours during office hours.
- Qualify 30-40 sales inquiries per month, directing them to inside or outside sales consultations.
- Engage leads and convert them into qualified prospects, ultimately turning them into long-term customers.
- Proposal Creation & Job Conversion:
- Generate 10-20 proposals/quotes per month.
- Close 10-20 jobs per month by converting proposals into completed sales.
- Ensure a steady flow of new recurring monthly revenue (RMR), targeting $500 per month.
- Achieve $10,000-$20,000 in new project revenue per month (including equipment and installation).
- Drive 100-200 hours of installation labor per month.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales cycle to earn "trusted advisor" status.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Service, and Install teams to ensure smooth account onboarding and implementation.
- Request and obtain referrals to expand customer base.
- Sales Performance & Targets:
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned monthly revenue and activity quotas.
- Maintain high levels of activity to ensure consistent achievement of sales goals.
- Utilize CRM tools to track and manage leads, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Communicate with customers via video, phone, and email to provide effective solutions and updates.
- Participate in weekly sales team meetings and regular one-on-one sessions with the manager.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support the business and drive sales productivity.
- Professional Development & Improvement:
- Complete required technical training and continue improving sales techniques.
- Regularly communicate customer needs, trends, and market intelligence to assist in marketing and product development.
