Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of liability and damages in personal injury cases.
- Manage a high-volume caseload from inception through appeal.
- Take and defend depositions, including expert witnesses.
- Handle court appearances, draft and argue motions, and lead cases through trial and appellate processes.
- Negotiate settlements involving complex liability and damages disputes.
- Strategically lead and mentor paralegals, clerks, and junior attorneys.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and transparency.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, opposing counsel, and judicial stakeholders.
- Active Washington State Bar License with a clean disciplinary record.
- 1-3 years of litigation experience with demonstrated success in depositions, trial preparation, and case strategy.
- Proficiency in case management systems and efficient time management.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for clients.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills with a deep understanding of Washington statutes and case law.
- Proven ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
- A compassionate, client-first mindset combined with a dedication to ethical practice.
