Overview
We have a current opening for a Cargo Van Owner on a Part Time Medical Route. This position is for a Contractor and is 1099. The driver delivers medical totes to pharmacies, each tote is sealed, and checked for accuracy at each pharmacy. Driver brings back empty totes at end of route each day to Alcoa.
Responsibilities
- Use customers apps correctly to make deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with all customers and be polite.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed in all warehouse and operational activities.
- Maintain the security of all medical totes while in Contractors possession.
Requirements
- Previous delivery experience required. Medical route experience a plus.
- Must have a clean background and pass a drug test.
- Complete onboarding paperwork and ability to possess required insurance.
- Ability to perform physical tasks which involves loading and unloading medical totes that weigh approx. 15lbs or less.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills to interact with customers. Must be fluent in English.
