Philo Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and strategic Hospitality Marketing Manager to drive brand messaging and revenue growth through traditional, digital, and social media channels. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance consumer awareness, increase market share, and support overall business goals. The Hospitality Marketing Manager will lead direct marketing initiatives, targeted campaigns, and digital engagement strategies to build a strong presence for our properties. A key aspect of this role includes promoting Food and Beverage offerings to both hotel guests and local patrons. This position collaborates closely with property leadership, external partners, and corporate marketing resources to ensure that all marketing efforts align with Philo Hospitality’s brand identity and business objectives.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience Required:
- Associate degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing, digital advertising, or a related professional area (hospitality marketing experience preferred); OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, digital advertising, or a related professional area (hospitality marketing experience preferred).
Marketing and Digital Strategy:
- Develops and executes comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to each property within Philo Hospitality’s portfolio.
- Collaborates with General Managers to align marketing initiatives with business priorities.
- Leads demand generation strategies and ensures marketing efforts contribute to revenue growth.
- Works with the finance team to manage marketing budgets and reconcile marketing expenses.
- Leads the creation and execution of on-property activation and programming that aligns with brand identity.
- Ensures all marketing content and messaging maintain consistency with Philo Hospitality’s brand voice.
- Develops and manages property email marketing campaigns and digital advertising strategies and works with our paid media agency to oversee paid media campaign performance.
- Supports group sales efforts through targeted marketing campaigns.
- Analyze marketing performance reports and adjust strategies accordingly to maximize effectiveness.
- Manages relationships with internal and external marketing partners to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
- Develops annual digital marketing plans that maximize revenue opportunities, including third-party and local partnerships.
- Monitors and optimizes SEO strategies in collaboration with digital marketing resources.
- Develop a cohesive content strategy that aligns with brand positioning and marketing goals.
- Manages Philo Hospitality’s website content, OTA listings, and third-party content.
- Oversees the creation and distribution of high-quality photography, video assets, and branded materials.
- Ensures all digital and print collateral maintains brand consistency.
- Oversees guest communications, including pre-arrival and post-stay engagement.
- Cultivates partnerships with local businesses, tourism boards, and key industry stakeholders to enhance brand presence.
- Engages with regional marketing and sales leadership to align strategies with market trends and business objectives.
- Oversees public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases, and promotional events.
- Manages relationships with PR agencies, influencers, and content creators to amplify brand awareness.
- Develops and promotes Food & Beverage initiatives to drive local and guest engagement.
- Works closely with the Food & Beverage team to create and execute marketing campaigns for restaurant promotions, special events, and seasonal offerings.
- Identifies opportunities to increase revenue through partnerships with local businesses and event programming.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Work with our advertising agency to manage paid social media campaigns and budgets.
- Oversees content creation for social media channels, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.
- Gathers and curates content related to local events, property highlights, and guest experiences.
- Manage influencer requests and influencer relations for Philo Hospitality hotel properties.
- Leads asset development, including property photoshoots and creative collateral production.
- Monitor marketing campaign performance and report key metrics to leadership.
- Build strong relationships with property leaders, corporate stakeholders, and external partners.
