We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients before procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Utilize 3D scanners for imaging when required.
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk duties as needed, including handling medical documentation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control practices, and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical records management and documentation processes.
- Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently.
- Proficiency in using medical imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and 3D scanners.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is an advantage.
